Emma Brekke, age 82, died Tuesday, December 10, 1968 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.
She was born January 19, 1886 in the town of New Hope, Portage County, the daughter of the late Nels and Rhonda (Elingson) Loberg.
On May 22, 1910 Emma was united in marriage to Alfred Brekke in the town of New Hope. He preceded her in death on Feburary 27, 1954.
Survivors include three sons, Evenor Brekke, Walton Brekke, and Dr. Alfred E. Brekke; one daughter, Lola (Donald) Carter; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Emma was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Brekke, two brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services were held December 13, 1968 at Faith Lutheran Church, Rosholt. The Rev. Paul Monson officiated. Interment was in Concordia Cemetery, Rosholt.
