Walton Brekke Walton L. Brekke, 82, formerly of Galloway, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000, at the Homme Home of Wittenberg. Walton and his brother, Evenor, ran a dairy farm and raised potatoes until their retirement in 1976. Survivors include his brother, Evenor Brekke, Galloway; two sisters-in-law, Ida Brekke, Wittenberg, and Leona Brekke, Cushirig, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church, Rosholt Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, Rosholt, in the spring. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg, and again from 1 pm Friday until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church, Rosholt.
