Lola N.Carter Lola N. Carter, 72, Rosholt, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 1997, at St. Michael's Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Rosholt, the Rev. Tim Housholder officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in the spring. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Voie Funeral Home, lola. Mrs. Carter was born Oct. 12, 1925, in the town of Franzen, Marathon County, the daughter of the late Alfred and Emma (Loberg) Brekke. On June 21, 1947, she was married to Donald Carter in Rosholt. He died Oct. 21, 1978. ' Mrs. Carter worked as a teacher's aide for 24 years at Rosholt Elementary School. Survivors include three daughters, Marie Carter, Madison, Jean (Douglas) Freiermuth, Baraboo, and Catherine (Carl) Huber, Chicago; three sons, John (Beverly), and Alan (Patricia), both of Rosholt, and Jeffrey (Corina) Carter, Eland; two brothers, Evenor Brekke and Walton Brekke, both of Galloway; eight grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
