Obit - Rainier Club? - Bob Jones.
The recent sudden death of Bob Jones, Western Cooperage Company executive, came as a severe shock to his many Rainier friends.
Bob - a young and aggressive fellow with a great host of sincere friends - played golf one week-end and the next was given back unto the earth. However, the memories he left behind will always remain with those who know him best. His gentleness, his kindness, his loyalty, his great good humor, and his true and real sense of sportsmanship could not but affect for good all those he came into contact with. That is his legacy, and though his stay here was of all too short duration, may his bereaved take measurable consolation in the simple thought that we who know Bob are much better off because of having known him.
We shall miss you, Bob.
