Janice Betty Binkley, 68, of Bemidji, MN died Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her home in Bemidji. She was born on August 27, 1952 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of Earl and Mabel (Anderson) Dahl. She was raised in Grafton until her family moved to Drayton, ND in 1962, and eventually Bemidji, MN in 1967. She worked at the Coachman’s Café until her graduation from Bemidji High School in 1970. She married Leroy Binkley on October 24, 1970 in Puposky, MN. Through nearly 50 years these best friends have shared laughter, sorrow, and happiness. She worked numerous places; including as a paraprofessional at Northern School, for 7 years at L&M Fleet Farm, and over 20 years in Medical Records for MeritCare, later Sanford Health. She was an outdoorswoman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and growing a flower garden. She played on bowling and softball leagues. She lived for her grandchildren, and loved spending Holidays together, and attending their sports and music events.
She is survived by her: Husband, Leroy Binkley, Children, Tina (Shane) Overton, Michelle (Cory) Merschman, Joseph (Brittni) Binkley, Grandchildren, Jackie-Lynn Taflin, Quinlan Taflin, Lindsay Taflin, Thor Choc, Shelby Choc, and Abel Binkley, Siblings, Ronnie (Nancy) Dahl, Gary (Pam) Dahl, Larry Dahl, Sandy (Tracy) Pogue, Keith (Brittany) Dahl, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Son David Binkley, her Parents, and her Brother Allen Dahl.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji. Condolences may be left at ceasefuneralhome.com
