Mrs. Emma O. Skophammer, wife of M.P. Skophammer of Bancroft, died Friday aged 29 years.
Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.A. Hammer of Albert Lea , at whose home her death occurred.
She was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota April 22,1874 and moved with her parents to Freeborn County in 1882.
She married April 22,1897 to M.P. Skophammer of Bancroft and the husband and one son survive her.
Mrs. Skophammer had been suffering for about a year from complications of diseases, but her conditions had not been regarded as critical, and her death was very sudden and unexpected.
The funeral services were held from the Hammer home Monday afternoon at two o'clock.
E.O. Hammer cashier of the Litchfield bank, came down to attend his sister's funeral and an aunt, Mrs, M. Boyington and her daughter, Mrs. W.Premo of Minneapolis were also present.
