Maris Calbeck, 93, died March 9, 1992 in Withan Hospital in Lebanon, Ind. She was born July 8, 1898 in South Whitley to George Henry and Anna (Wiley) Sharp. Her parents died when she was a young child and she was raised by Shelley and Rose Green. On Nov. 22, 1921 in Albion she married Linval Calbeck. He died in 1983. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Cromwell. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Rena) Warner of Thornton; a daughter-in-law, Elnore Calbeck of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A son, Richard, died in 1989.
