Eleven (nine graduates) students in the class of 1937 - Harold was Class President and Valedictorian.

1940-41 Student at Western Washington State Teachers College Bellingham. Junior in standing, was not enrolled in school year 39-40. Laura Bestual was also a student at Western in 39-40, 40-41 and 41-42.
Oct 3, 1941 - Enlisted at Fort Lewis. Trained as an Aviation Cadet (Communications) Air Corp Technical School - Radio Operators-Mechanics Scott Field Ill April 25, 1942 Class 17.
July 1943 graduates Communiations School, Technical School AAFTTC, Yale University, New Haven, Conn. as a 2nd Lt. AUS. Par 25a AR 615-160.
Will serve as 1st Lt Hq 20th Wing from July 15, 1943 to Feb. 10 146. Radar Officer (RCM) 7888
Will spend time in Florida (Boca Raton Army Air Field Dec. 1943) and Eglin AFB (Valpariso, Florida Feb. 1944)
July 1944 serving in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Peterson Field. Will separate from the army at Lowry Field Denver Colorado in 1946.
World War II Veteran - Army Air Corp
Harold and Laura spent their honeymoon (1945) at Big Four Inn on the Mountain Loop Highway. This inn was destroyed by a fire in 1949.

1948-49 and 1949-50 Taught at Twin City High School in Stanwood

Owned and managed two sets of apartments/duplex’s in the 1960s. One set on Edmonds Way at 23828. Also owned the home just east of this comlex of duplex’s that has since be torn down.
