Ben applied for a Passport in March of 1914. He is living in Portland, occupation is Salesman, and William Yeo attests for Ben's identification on the application. The passport is to be sent to Hotel Americana, Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Ben sailed from Cristobal, Canal Zone May 7th, 1914 arriving in New York May 14th 1914. He must have traveled overland on the Little Panama Railroad as the Canal does not open to the summer of 1914. His address in the states is listed as Portland.
