Myrtle Mary Jones Rochelle
Myrtle M Rochelle, age 76, of 2425 North 4th St, died Friday, December 31, 1965, at Riverside Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Samuel C Rochelle; niece, Mrs. Elizabeth (Donald R) Johnson of Battle Creek Michigan; one grand-niece; 1 grand-nephew and 1 great grand-niece.
She was a member of Thea Court and Degree Team of Ladies’ Oriental Shrine, member of Donona Temple and past Chiefs Association of Pythian Sisters, past Chief’s Association of Pythian Sisters, Regent Nomads of Avurdaka, the 8 Club, and the Thirteen Club. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Rutherford Chapel; burial in Silent Home Cemetery in Reynoldsburg.
Myrtle M was born May 3, 1889, in London, Madison County, Ohio, the daughter of Charles Jones and Mary McArdle. On Jan, 28, 1909 she was married to Charles E Johnson in Franklin Co, but divorced soon after. On Oct 19, 1920, she married Samuel Clyde Rochelle, who was also divorced from his first wife Myrtle Dill.
