Edith Erika (Tunby) Johnson, 78, who farmed and ranched with her husband, worked for the Hinsdale Tribune, did volunteer work, served as an election judge and enjoyed crossword puzzles, bird-watching, knitting, crocheting, swimming, reading and gardening, died of natural causes Tuesday at Glasgow hospital.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, DuWanyne of Hinsdale; children Dana, Michael and Mark, all of Hinsdale and Lona and Tari of Kalispell; brothers Roy of Bozeman, Gordon of Minneapolis, and Maurice and Rolph of Plevna; sisters Helen of Baker, Elphie of Billings and Marie of Spokane, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson.
