Samuel H Welty, Goshen High school chemistry and physics instructor for 26 years, died June 20 at the home of Obid Harrid, near Avilia, where he became ill while attending a LaOtto High school class reunion.
His wife was with him at the Harrid home. He taught at Nappanee, LaOtto, and New Paris before going to Goshen.
Funeral services were held last Thursday at the New Paris Evangelical church and burial was made in the Union Center cemetery.
