Laura Tuttle died in Goshen Feb. 10, 1944 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Welty, from complications. She had resided in the Kimmell-Wolf Lake neighborhood almost her entire life. She was born in Webster County, Iowa. On Oct. 17, 1876 Laura Belle Thompson became the wife of Albert B. Tuttle at Wolf Lake. He died in Aug. 1907. Funeral was at New Paris Feb. 13. Burial, Sparta Cemetery. She is survived by the daughter of Goshen; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Harvey Abbott of Palestine, Ill., and Mrs. Alice Granby, Eaton, Ill.
