Anton B. Brekke Anton B. Brekke, 83, Route 1, Rosholt, a former chairman of the Town of Alban, died at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday at the Homme Home for the Aging at Witten berg. He had been a resident of the home for the past two years. He was born on Sept. 18, 1887, in the Town of Alban, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Brekke. pioneer residents of Alban. He married Olga Johnson of Iola on May 14, 1916, in New Hope, and they farmed for many years in the Town of Alban. Mr. Brekke was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a major in agriculture. He was a member of the Alban Town Board and had served as chairman of the township many years ago. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Louis (Ruth) Hake, Carbondale, Colo., Mrs. Malcolm (Pearl) Roe, New Berlin, Mrs. Allan (Orpha) Torgerson, Brookfield, and Mrs. Andrew (Shirley) Dobbe, Rosholt; 12 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother, Lester Brekke, Fort Atkinson, and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Scunziano, New York City, and Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Olson, Sarasota, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one daughter. Funeral services are scheduled at Faith Lutheran Church at Rosholt on Thursday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Vern Hol-tan of Trinity Lutheran Church at Stevens Point officiating. Burial will be made in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery at Rosholt. Friends may call after 6 o'clock this evening at the Voie Funeral Home at Iola.
