Shirlev Jean North A Bride Saturday Daughter of Mrs. Kathryn North and Sergeant Donald H. Meyers Wedded Miss Shirley Jean North, daughter of Mrs. Kathryn North, of North Eighth street, became the bride of Sergeant 1c Donald H. Meyers, of Washington, D. C, at 9:30 Saturday morning. The ceremony was performed by Major Spurloch, chaplain, in the chapel at New Cumberland General Depot. The bride had as her attendant, Mrs. Theodore Krzykowski, of Harrisburg. Sergeant David . Reynolds, of Natural Bridge, Virginia, was groomsman for Sergeant Meyers. The bride was given in marriage by Robert H. Smith, of Washington, D. C. The wedding music was played by the chapel organist. Mrs. Meyers is a graduate of the Selinsgrove High School and for the past eight years has been employed at the State Capitol in Harrisburg. At present she holds a position in the Department of Corporation Tax. Sergeant Meyers has been in the service for 10 years. He saw service in the European Theatre and was wounded in action. He is now serving as assistant psychiatrist at New Cumberland Depot. Sergeant and Mrs. Meyers will reside m Harrisburg until their new home, being erected on the York Road, is completed.
