Babette Olive Wilson was born in Alabama City, Alabama. (Alabama City was subsequently merged with the city of Gadsden.) She married Cyril Hope Meyers on 1 June 1915 in Washington, D.C. They were the parents of four children, and the family lived in Washington, D.C. and its suburbs in Virginia and Maryland. Babette and Cyril Hope Meyers were divorced in Arlington County, Virginia, 29 July 1939. She was living in Washington, D.C., at the time of the 1940 U.S. Census, and she married John D. Bell in Washington, D.C., on 4 March 1941. (Marriage Records. District of Columbia Marriages. Clerk of the Superior Court, Records Office, Washington D.C. Ancestry.com. Washington, D.C., U.S., Marriage Records, 1810-1953; Her Social Security record indicates that in April 1941 her name was changed from Babette Wilson Meyers to Babette Wilson Bell.) On 10 April 1950, Babette Rockwell was enumerated with Wallace O. Rockwell in the 1950 U.S. Census. The record notes that she was born in Alabama. The couple were living in Vallejo, Solano County. She died two months later in neighboring Contra Costa County. She was buried in the Carquinez Cemetery in Vallejo. Wallace Oliver Rockwell died two years later in 1952, and he was buried with her in the Carquinez Cemetery.
She moved to the San Francisco Bay area of California, and she married Wallace Oliver Rockwell.
