Margaret Toman Margaret Toman, 88, Bismarck, died May 16, 2002, at her residence. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Stephen D. Eastin officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan.

Margaret Pierce was born April 21, 1914, in Mandan, the daughter of Charles F. and Jennie L. (Bestul) Pierce. She was raised and educated in Mandan. Margaret was a teacher at the State Training School in Mandan, worked for Dacotah Flooring in Bismarck, the State Unemployment Bureau and for the Mandan Daily Pioneer as the society editor.

Margaret married Clyde R. Huddleson in Yuma, Ariz., on Dec. 16, 1937. One son was born to this union, Charles. Clyde died July 15, 1945. She married George Toman on July 22, ' 1969, in Bismarck. George died Nov. 9, 2000.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mandan. Margaret loved playing cards, bowling, golf and liked to travel.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles R. and Connie Huddleson, Liv-ermore, Colo.; her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Don Eck, Bismarck; seven grandchildren, Todd Huddleson and Dana Cox, Carrie Jones, Amber Gugler, Troy Eck, Tate Eck, and Tracey Bndwell and her husband, Travis; six great-grandchildren, Ryan and Cory Cox, Rachel and Steven Huddleson, and Cody and Savannah Jones; one sister, Mary Jane Ulmer, Mandan; and a niece and two nephews, Jenny Kuller and Dan Ulmer, both of Mandan, and Denny Ulmer, Park Rapids, Minn., and their families.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Huddleson and George Toman; her parents; her brother-in-law, Leland "Chub" Ulmer; and one daughter, Penny West.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Medcenter One Hospice, Bismarck, or First Presbyterian Church, Mandan.
