Renkenberger Lydia, whose death occurred June 11, 1912, was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, Jan. 1, 1829, aged 83 years, 5 months and 10 days. Her husband died Nov. 4, 1909. Her girlhood days were spent in the locality where she was born. She was one of a family of six sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Anglemyer, Mrs. Anna Favinger, Mrs. Barbary Gilbert, Mrs. Mary Homsher, and Mrs. Catharine Hendricks, all of whom are deceased except Mrs. Favinger in Nebraska. She was united in marriage April 1, 1847 to John B. Renkenberger. To this union eight children were born, Horace O., Thomas C., Hiram A., Free Dell, James, deceased, Mrs. Henry Monger, Mrs. Ida Fulks and Mrs. John Good. There are nineteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. In 1852 with her husband and two children she came to Noble County, where they purchased a farm and by industry and economy they established a good and comfortable home. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Services were at Hopewell Thursday afternoon. Burial, King Cemetery. ~ 6-12 & 19-1912
