Mary Elizabeth Reece, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Westminster Thurber Retirement Community. Mary was born on September 28, 1914 in West Jefferson, OH; she was the daughter of the late Robert and Fern Thomas. Mary was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Robert Reece; brothers, Charles, Richard and Louis Thomas; and sister, Irene Thomas. Mary is survived by her loving family, children, Bob (Jody) Reece of Columbus, OH and Beth Reece of Grove City, OH; grandchildren, Meghan (Jason) Martin, Adam (Kristen) Sherry and Beth (Stan) Nichol; great grandson, Phillip Nichol; brothers, David (Marge) Thomas and Carl Thomas both of West Jefferson, OH; along with many nieces and nephews. Mary retired from the State of Ohio Employment services after 20+ dedicated years. She was a former member of Fairmoor and Eastminster Presbyterian Churches. Mary was a proud grandmother, a supporting mother and a devoted wife. Graveside service for Mary will be on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:30am at Forest Grove Cemetery, 8270 Cemetery Pike, Plain City, OH 43064. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 3100 E Broad St, Columbus, OH
