GREENEVILLE (Spl.) - James A. Doty, 73, died at his home near Greenville at 6:45 p.m. Friday following a lingering illness.
Surviving are his widow, Rowena Ward Doty; three brothers. G. C. Doty, Wachula, Fla., E. N. Doty, Corona, Calif., and W. N. Doty, Kingsport; and two granddaughters and one Grandson.
The body will be removed from the Paul Cook Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Saturday to the residence.
Funeral services will be held at the New Lebanon Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Ralph Cook in charge.
