etha Lee Ward, age 92, of North Charleston, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at a local nursing facility.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers, especially azaleas, sewing, cooking, and photography. She is survived by her son: William L. Ward of North Charleston, SC; sister, Evelyn Light of Colonial Heights, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Haskel J. Ward; son, Michael J. Ward and her parents.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 11, 2010, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. The family is gratefully accepting floral tributes in Retha Ward's honor.
