Thelma Overgaard WESTBY - Thelma Bernice Overgaard, 66, of Westby died Sunday in the Plentywood hospital of cancer. Her funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Westby, with burial in Plentywood Memorial Cemetery. She was bom near Dalton, Minn. After her father's death, the family moved to the Westby area. She attended a rural school and graduated from Westby High School in 1942. After graduation, she worked as postmistress at Westby. She then moved to Minneapolis and worked at a munitions plant. She and Norman Overgaard were married in 1943 in Minneapolis. They moved to the Overgaard family farm. Survivors are her husband; daughters, Gayle Schott of Westby, Judy Schmidt of Roundup, Ro"byn Sorenson of Plentywood and Mary McMinn of Billings; a brother, Herbert Rustad of Minneapolis. Fulkerson Funeral Home of Plentywood is in charge of arrangements.
