Milton Crookston Funeral services were held recently in Helena, Mont., for Milton W. Crookston, formerly of Magrath. who died Mav 20 in Helena. He was the son or one of Alberta's pioneer families. He is survived by his wife. Olga; a son. Daniel Milton: a daughter. Beverly Claire; three sisters. Mrs. N. Rich of California. Mrs. W. F,. Milton Crookston Dies After Lengthy Illness HELENA, May 29. Milton Wallace Crookston, 51-year-old Helena resident and former Burgan and Walker parts foreman, died early Saturday morning at his home, 824 Sixth. He had been failing in health for the past year and one-half. Born In Logan, Utah, April 3, 1897. Mr. Crookston moved to Magrath, Alberta, Canada, with his parents while still a child. He resided there until coming to Helena in 1915. He served tn the Marine corps during World War I and was a member of the American Legion, 40 et 8, and the Marine Corps league. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was affiliated with the United Commercial Travelers. Survivors include his widow, Olga Dahl Crookston, whom he married in Helena in 1932; a son, Daniel Milton; a daughter, Beverly Claire; three sisters, Mrs. Newell Rich of Surf, Calif., Mrs. Walter Brown of Magrath, Alberta, Mrs. Melvln Shields of Diamond City, Alberta; two brothers, Grant of Magrath and Glen of Maywood, Calif.; a cousin, Mrs. Clyde W. Burgan of this city, and several other cousins in Utah. The body is at the OPD-Conrad-Retz funeral home.
