90-YEAR-OLD COUNTY NATIVE DIES TUESDAY
Death came Tuesday to James Madison Warren, 90, at the home of his son A.M. Warren of route one, Dayton.
Warren was born at Muddy Valley in 1855 and lived there for 30 years. In 1876 at McMinnville he married Bertha Verstegg, who preceded him in death in 1918.
Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at 2 o'clock at the Hopewell United Brethern church with Rev. V.A. Ballantyne and Rev. R.D. Bennett officiating. Arrangements were handled by the McMinnville Funeral home.
Interment was at the Hopewell cemetery. Surviving are two children, A.M. Warren of Dayton and Mrs. Nellie E. Ohms of Silverdale, B.C.; a sister, Mrs. Ora Thomason of Portland; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
