ZINKE, ALFRED H., 82, of New Port Richey, died Saturday (July 9, 1994) at HCA New Port Richey Hospital. Born in Afton, N.D., he came here 16 years ago from Grafton, N.D., and was a retired restaurant owner and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Grafton, and charter member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Carol; two sons, Duane, Devils Lake, N.Di, and Ron, St. Paul, Minn.; two stepsons, Thomas Orsund, Amherst, Wis., and Wallace Orsund Jr., Ramsey, Minn.; a daughter, Connie Thompson, Perham, Minn.; three stepdaughters, Mary Stenquist, Anoka, Minn., Peggy Schendel, Champlin, Minn., and Nancy Klersy, Rogers, Minn.; two brothers, Paul and George, both of Oregon; four sisters, Rose Maxwell, Grafton, Martha Krebs, Oregon, Clara Maxwell, Grand Forks, N.D., and Lillian Millang, Iowa; 26 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
