Aeron Alexia Mouat, 44, passed away Jan. 7, 2017 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings. She was born Jan. 12, 1972, in Fairfield, Calif., to David and Juanita Mouat.

Aeron attended school in Worland, Wyo., from kindergarten through high school. She then attended Powell Community College where she received an associate’s degree in nursing. As a registered nurse, she worked in Worland and Ketchikan, Alaska. She spent the majority of her career in Bellingham, Wash., as an E.R. nurse where she gave compassionate care to those in need. She was also instrumental in instituting procedures which helped facilitate and impact patient care.

Aeron was an accomplished athlete. She participated in half-marathons, marathons and triathlons. She constantly worked out and pushed herself to reach set athletic goals. Her most impressive achievement was the completion of an Iron Man race.
Traveling was a passion of Aeron’s. She took multiple cruises and trips. Her favorite place was Hawaii, where she and her family had many vacations together.
Aeron is survived by her son, Tucker Horath of Worland, and her daughter, Samadhi Moore of Ketchikan. They will always remember the neighborhood block parties, sleepovers and lingering laughter into the evening. She always tried to foster lifelong opportunities for her children.
She is also survived by her mother, Juanita Mouat (Billings); sister, Marnie Rau (Glendive); her first husband Lawrence Bradley Horath and so many aunts, uncles, and cousins by the dozen who are dear to her heart and have supported her over the years.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
