NameAgnes Garvey
Misc. Notes
The first wife of Isaac Noble Redfearn, Agnes is a mystery the family is still trying to understand. Their marriage record is actually a marriage license, as they never returned to finalize the document. Together they had four children: Mary "Marie" Edith, Esther Queen, Agnes Irene, and Edward Redfearn. According to family stories she was committed to the Michigan Asylum for the Insane in Kalamazoo, Michigan when her two youngest children were very young. She died there of pneumonia. Further research is needed to prove these stories. The age at death on her headstone (and death record) is possibly incorrect.
