Otis H. Anderson, 74, of 1809 W 1st St, Merrill, died on August 5th, 1975 at Holy Cross Hospital.
Otis was born on September 9th, 1900 in the Town of Albin, Rosholt, WI, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Soren Anderson. On December 22, 1911 he married the former Lorna Bestol in Waukegan, IL. She survives.
Mr. Anderson farmed prior to his retirement. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, and serves the Town Clerk and school treasurer in the Town of Harding.
Survivors besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Joyce Baumgart, Benton City, WA; Mrs. Beula Gorman, Green Bay; and Mrs. Estelle Klemp, Merrill; three sons, Roger Anderson, Lyle Anderson and Marvin Anderson, all of Merrill; two sisters, Mrs. Della Falks, Iola, WI; and Mrs. Sylvia Samuels of Oakland, CA; four brothers, James Anderson of Caldwell, ID; George Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD; Harold Anderson,Rosholt, WI; and John Anderson of San Rafael, CA; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 8, 1975 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Merrill. The Rev. Gerhard Betheim officiated and burial was in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. The Schram - Buettner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
