ANDERSON, VIRGINIA L.
pub 07-AUG-2014 A4 Virginia L. Anderson Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Our loving mother was born in Anatone, WA March 10, 1925, and passed peacefully on August 2, 2014. Mother's passing was preceded by her husband and our father, James G. Anderson, in June 2004. Virginia graduated high school in Bremerton, WA in June 1943. She worked for the telephone company in the early years prior to her marriage to James in 1946. The newlyweds lived near Devils Lake, ND, and in 1949 moved to Fife, WA with their 2-year-old twins, Jimmy and Jerry. In 1950 a third son, Rod, was born, and soon after the family moved to the Parkland area, buying a small farm. Virginia worked for many years for LeMay Enterprises and later for the Franklin Pierce School District. Throughout the boys' school years, Virginia was very active in the local PTA. Virginia leaves her three sons and their wives, Jimmy and Linda, Jerry and Jeanne, and Rod and Diana, sisters Loreen and Diana, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life at Fir Lane Memorial Park, 924 E 176th St, Spanaway, WA, on Saturday, August 9, 2014, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please consider a donation in Virginia's name to the charity of your choosing in lieu of flower
