Gary E. Allard, son of Edward H. Allard (December 9, 1920 - September 26, 1990) and Harriet A. Anderson (May 5, 1921 - December 5, 1965), was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota and spent his youth on the family farm near Warwick. His family moved to Devils Lake, where Gary attended Devils Lake Central High School and met and then married Cherelynn Seibert on November 21, 1964. Gary attended Devils Lake Junior College from 1963 - 1965 and then moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota where he attended the University of North Dakota, receiving a master's degree in biology. Gary & Chere moved to Minot in 1974 where Gary worked for Minot State College. They moved to Beulah in 1977 where he became in partner in West River Realty and West River Builders. They moved to Bismarck in 2008. Gary is survived by his children: Kelle, Scott, Steffanie, and David Gary.
