LIGONIER - Ruth Marie Clark, 90, of Ligonier, died Wednesday (April 28, 2010) at the Avalon Village Nursing Home, Ligonier. She was born Sept. 9, 1919, in Kimmell, to the late Medley and Leona (Galloway) McClure. On April 8, 1936, in Columbia City, she married Edgar L. Clark. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1993.
She is survived by son L. Wayne Clark of Ligonier; daughters Linda Williams of Hamilton, Peggy (Phil) Musselman of Ligonier and Cathy (Johnny) Alfrey of Wawaka; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son Charles Clark and sisters Edith McClure and Helen Fry. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at 11 a.m. today at Ulrey-Renner and Brazzell Funeral Home, Ligonier. The Rev. David Kushman of Ligonier Evangelical Church and Celebrant Larry Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell. The family request memorials be directed to Avalon Village or Parkview Noble Community Hospital Outpatient Services.
