Death followed a long illness Saturday morning for Mrs. Velma Leola Beck, 63, at her 909 North 13th Ave. residence.
Mrs. Beck was born and reared in McComb. She had lived in Laurel four years and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 10 a.m., at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with her pastor, the Rev. Ralph Cottrell, officiating.
The body will be carried to Hartman's Funeral Home in McComb to await burial service at 2 p.m. in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb.
Surviving are her husband, A. L. Beck, Laurel; two daughters, Mrs. C. W. Jones Jr., McComb, and Miss Nellie Givens, Raceland, La.; a son, J. E. Givens, McComb; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Peoples and Mrs. Lillie Marshaw, Joplin, Mo.; a brother, J. S. Cook, Buster Springs, Kan.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge.
