Alban Farmer Dies
Thomas Listul, aged 77 years and one of the oldest residents of the town of Alban, died at his fam home on February 23 and was buried from the Alban Lutheran church last Wednesday, Rev. W. A. Johnson officiating at the services and later consigned his remains to their last resting place in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Listul was born at Scandinavia, Waupaca county, March 7, 1852, and grew to young manhood there. Shortly after his marriage more than a half century ago he moved to Alban and developed one of the best farms in northeast Portage county. His wife died several years ago and he is survived by three sons and four daughters, all of whom live in the Rosholt territory except Mrs. Martin Haroldson of Hogarty, Marathon county, and Mrs. Otto Samuelson of Merrill.
