One of the great joys I have had in researching the family tree has been the great moment when I found my fathers first cousin was still alive and well living in Blackpool England.She is a very bright 93 years old and graduated
from open University 2 years ago, her name is Olga.
Olga's grandmother was Patience Southan Boddis, and over a period of time Olga has been putting down on paper her memories of the family from when she was a
child. This has given me a wonderful insight to the people that I just have written down as names and dates.To add a little bit of history to them has given me great
pleasure.One of the memories that gave me some thought was she remembers as a child,living in Springfield Road Heath Town (the area of Wolverhampton that
Mary Ann Southan was born)was the great excitment when her cousins visited them from the "great Lakes" I have often wondered who this could have been,
then after finding your Family site I guessed it would have been the Aurelus cousins.Since then I have found that they travelled quite a bit between USA and England.124
