Engebretsen, Corp. Andy. Norman
Corporal Engebretsen was one of the Snohomish county men who were killed in battle with the 91st Division. He entered Camp Lewis September 19, 1917, and became a member of Co. D, 361st Infantry. He was promoted to corporal before leaving Camp Lewis for overseas. Corporal Engebretsen was in reserve at St. Mihiel with the “Wild West” and went into action in the Meuse-Argonne on September 26, 1918. He escaped injury until October 11th, when he was killed. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Engebretsen, of Norman, and is also survived by his wife, Magda Sofia Engebretsen. 2,257,12433
