Abraham. son of John and brother of George Phifer, married Ann Withrow and settled near his father: devoted his life to farming: was very prosperous. and at his death owned 600 acres of land and several thousand dollars in money. John, the third son died when young. The daughters were named Dolly, Clara, Betsey and Nancy. All married and had families and became prosperous and good citizens.
