Obit - Former Resident of County Dies in Chicago
Mrs. Samantha Graham Jones, aged 80 years, widow of the late George P. Jones, both natives of Madision county, died at her home in Chicago on Wednesday, according to word received here.
Mrs. Jones was a daughter of the late William Henry Harrison Graham and Sophronia Loofbourrow Graham, natives and pioneer residents of Madison county near M. Sterling. She is survived by one son, Beiden Jones of Chicago, and two daughters, one of whom resides in Chicago and the other in Vermont.
The body will arrive at 10:45 Saturday morning and be taken to Oak Hill cemetery where a short funeral service will be held by Rev. C. W. Smith and the body will be buried by Undertaker W. E. Lukens.
