Prickett Charles D "Cy", 62, was born near Wolf Lake Nov. 30, 1912 to Charles H. and Anna (Seymoure) Prickett, and he married Coleen Treer Feb. 14, 1947. She survives. He was a 1931 graduate of Wolf Lake High School, employed by the R & O Railroad, served in WW II, and was appointed Wolf Lake postmaster Dec. 12, 1962. He was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church, Lions Club, Brotherhood of Locomotive engineers, former chief of Wolf Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Noble County Bicentennial Committee, and VFW. A lifetime resident of Noble County and postmaster for 12 years, he died Sunday in Parkview Hospital. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Cheryl) Franks, Wawaka, and Mrs. James (Becky) Dazey, Wolf Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Bunger, Cromwell, Miss Edna Prickett and Mrs. Jane Crow, Chicago; and two grandsons. Services Wednesday in Columbia City. Burial, Wolf Lake Cemetery. ~ 12-5-1974 + 11-?-197443
