Donald Avin Moe passed away January 13, 1997.
He was born June 30, 1925 in Everett, the ninth son of a family of ten born to Olgar and Gustava Moe, early 1900 settlers in the Norman area of the Stillaguamish Valley. He was a long-time resident of Snohomish County. Don was married to Mary Carol Holland, his wife of 45 years. To this union were born five children.

Survivors include wife, Mary; daughter, Julee and son-in-law, Bob Swanson; daughter, Nancy Anglin; son, Gordon; son, Kevin and daughter-in-law, Liz; and grand-children, Laurie, Robin and Logan Swanson, Shawn and Kyle Anglin, and Shannon and Katie Moe. He is also survived by brothers, George Moe of Camano lsland, Everett Moe of Arlington and Luther Moe of Silvana; his in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister; and his son, Brian, in 1982. Don enjoyed the company of others and served the general public for over 40 years in the produce and retail grocery trade and in other endeavors. He enjoyed numerous hobbies, his grandchildren and a good story. We enjoyed his sense of humor.
Per his request, in lieu of flowers and memorials, “help someone in need”.
The family wishes to acknowledge Forest and Ruth Holland and Don’s friends and neighbors for the many kindnesses and encouragement during his illness.
Graveside service to be held at a?later date at Valley View Cemetery, Silvana
