Marie Teodorsdatter Torsen, born in 1860 at Eidskog, Norway, became Ole’s wife in about 1881. She had emigrated to America in that year. Their son Olgar was born in Chicago in 1883. In August 1885 another son, Karl, was born. Marie died when Karl was about one month old and the baby, Karl, died a few days later.
