Buckles George E, 37, (b. 7-16-1913) died early Thursday in McCray Hospital where he was admitted Tuesday night with self-inflicted gunshot wounds in the head. Surviving are the wife, Barbara, a daughter, Linda, at home; his mother Mrs. Letha Buckles, west of Albion; and two brothers, Robert, Los Angeles and Oris John of Garrett. The Buckles were former residents of this community, having resided west of here several years. He had been despondent several months and a verdict of suicide was returned. Services were June 8.
