Misc. Notes
Braden Frank, 56, farmer and lifelong resident of Noble County committed suicide at his farm home a mile southwest of here today. Ill health and worry over financial difficulties is believed to have prompted him to commit the act. His body was found dangling from a heavy rafter in the barn by his son, Robert, this morning. He had always engaged in farming, spending most of his life working as a tenant. On Feb. 1 he moved to the present farm which he had taken over on a "fifty-fifty" basis. In his efforts to furnish half of the seed, livestock, etc., he was financially pressed and worry over being unable to meet his obligations seemed to depress him. Members of the family asked him last week if he had intentions of committing suicide when he showed signs of weakness and he replied, "No I am too strong to end my life." Surviving are the wife; a son, Robert; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Noe; a sister, Mrs. Sylvester Hadley; and a brother, Lee, all of near Columbia City. Funeral from the home Thursday. Burial, Wolf Lake Cemetery. + 4-?-192849
