Buckles Franklin R, 73, Huntertown, died Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born in Noble County Oct. 16, 1910, the son of George and Ida B. (Schlabach) Buckles. He was a U. S. Army veteran and moved from R. 2, Churubusco 19 years ago to Huntertown. He was retired from Northwest Allen County Schools and L. S. Ayres, Inc. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joel (Sharon) Kimmel of Columbia City, and Sandra Buckles of Huntertown; three sons, Jerry, John and David, all Fort Wayne; and a sister, Elvira Wolfe of Kimmell; and seven grandchildren. Services were Tuesday at Orr Funeral Home in Churubusco. Burial, Stringtown Cemetery. ~ 7-19-1984
