Schrock Zelda, 84, a native of Noble County who spent her early years in Washington Twp, died June 4, 1982 in Whitley County Hospital. A daughter of John and Mary Buffenbarger Piper, she married Melvin Schrock on Aug. 15, 1944 and they spent their entire married life in Columbia City. He died March 24, 1963. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Woody (Mary) Hawk, R. 3, Ligonier, and a nephew, Lewis McLallin, R. 1, Kimmell. Also preceding her in death were 2 sisters, Golda and Marie. Funeral at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City last Sunday. Burial, Sparta Cemetery
