He worked for Dohrmann Hotel Supply as a salesman and manager for 40 years. He worked for the company in Portland Oregon, four cities in California (Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco and Los Angeles), and in Honolulu, Hawaii. He retireded to Santa Cruz, CA.
